" I installed them on my 2008 Toyota Tundra and they look great.The most it took was an hour to install. I happen to be on vacation when they came and put them right on. My parents love them too because it makes it easier to get in truck when I take them to Doctors. I recommend them to anyone, had some guys at work ask and hope they get them from automax styling too. " These are very nice and sturdy bars that were quite easy to install and look great on the truck. The platinum ones have a lifetime warranty even! The instructions are somewhat lacking like others have said and seem to not make any sense once you get about halfway through them but it was easy to figure out once I got started. " Installation was a bit challenging, but not impossible. The middle support bracket it not big enough to allow the body bolt to pass through. I had to widen it with a file. I also used a standard deep well spark plug socket to install the bars. This worked fine. The bars look amazing and really adds flare to my truck. Chevrolet sells their running boards for $650. automax styling and Westin did it right for $310. My first time ordering here and will do it again. Much success and would recommend. " the directions are very poor, type is so small and wording is vague. The steps are actually easy to install even by myself but the directions and pictures need updating, I found a pictorial online and then jumped on it, was finished in about an hour. The steps work great and look good, perfect height for my 2011 dodge 15 4x4. My girlfriend and I are heavy people and the steps are solid ! thought about sending westin the directions from my extang tonneau cover, plain, simple, good directions, so they could see what directions are suppose to look like lol "Do you find this review helpful?

" These bars were simple to install once you figure the instructions out. The instructions leave much to be desired because the illustration quality is poor. However, once you get past that, these should take no longer than 30 minutes if you're using impact tools. The brackets are labeled fine (DF for Driver Front, PR for Passenger Rear, etc), however, the bars themselves are not. Don't be in a hurry to bolt them on until you've looked at the product and are happy with how it's going to look. The bars have handled quite a bit of punishment so far. Great product! " Promptly shipped, arrived undamaged, all parts and hardware included. The photos in the installation instructions are a little small and not perfectly clear. The instructions seemed to be for a different set of step bars. The dialog did not match the actual procedure and called for 16MM, 18MM and 19MM sockets when 16MM, 19MM and 21MM were required. The actual installation was very easy and only took about an hour including time trying to match instructions with my pick up. All parts are marked as to side, front or rear. The quality of the step bars and brackets seems to be very good. All welds are first class and finish is first class. "Do you find this review helpful?
