When it comes to installing functional accessories to your vehicle, you will likely have many options available to you. One of the wisest investments one can make for their SUV is to install a Putco Boss 4” Wheel-to-Wheel side step bar. In fact, a step bar is a great accessory to add to any vehicle that may be taller than most.
Many individuals know that the primary function of a Putco Boss 4” Wheel-to-Wheel side step bar is to bring convenience and safety to the vehicle's occupants. Step bars are mounted directly underneath the vehicle's rocker panels on both driver and passenger sides. These side bars are able to narrow the gap that is between the ground and the panels, making entering and exiting the vehicle much easier and safer. Nerf bars are able to give the vehicle's occupants additional upright support while getting in and out of the vehicle. Most side bars include a non-slip grip to ensure a solid grip to prevent passengers from losing grip and slipping. This accessory is helpful for both children as well as the elderly. In addition to being able to assist the driver and passengers in and out of the vehicle, running boards are also helpful in preventing your vehicle from becoming scratched or damaged. A nerf bar is useful for avoiding potential damage that may occur in a minor accident, such as a car door being swung into your vehicle. The Nerf Bars will be in place to take the initial impact of the damage so that your vehicle remains untouched.
Investing in a Pustco Boss 4” Wheel-to-Wheel side step bar is more than just a functional exterior piece; it also adds a unique style to the exterior of your vehicle. Stainless steel running boards for trucks and SUVs are able to complete the vehicle's side appearance. When it comes to obtaining a stylish, strong, dynamic and sport appearance for your ride, you will definitely want to consider purchasing truck bars. Not only will the step rails add a sleek look to your car, the non-slip grip pads are also made of high-quality polyethylene. This material is water-proof and will be able to withstand the most extreme weather conditions that you may encounter while driving. The design includes grooves that will increase the friction between the bottom of your shoes and the non-slip pads for extra security. The design of the non-slip pads are also helpful in getting rid of excess dirt and water that may be on the bottom of your shoes. Many Westin bars and Putco side step bars today are made of chrome or stainless steel for maximum durability and reliability.
When choosing functional, safe and stylish exterior accessories for your vehicle, a Putco Boss 4” Wheel-to-Wheel side step bar may be just the ideal accessory that you may want for your vehicle. These step tubes are custom-built specifically for your SUV or full-sized truck and are crafted from 4” diameter heavy duty stainless steel. There is no doubt that this step for truck offers complete strength as well as rust resistance. When you want the ultimate utility and style for your tube steps, you should highly consider investing in a Putco Boss 4” Wheel-to-Wheel side step bar.

" Installation pictures could use a little work. They were a little grainy and not very clear. Once driver side installed, passenger side took half the time and they look sharp. Saved over 50% by ordering online and installing myself. Staff was very helpfull to insure that I ordered the right bars. Thanks again. You will have my business for any other vehicle needs. "

" I am very satisified with my new steps for my truck. My truck is white, with grey on the bottom, and the really dress it up. When you are installing, just have a bit of patience. There are two clips that you will have to install in a clearance hole for the front brackets, if you have a a SuperCab. You will probably want to have a magnent in case you drop these clips in the rocker panel. Otherwise, everything is pretty straight forward. It will probably take around a couple hours to install. "

" I have received many comments about the look of the bars, even from car dealers. They were fairly easy to install, took about an hour and a half. The part I liked the most was no drilling or disassembly on my truck. The bars and brackets seem to be well built and durable. We'll see how they do after a couple of northern NY winters..... "
