- Great Addition to the Truck -- Reviewed by Aaron V (Millville, PA), 2009 Dodge Ram, May 28, 2012
" The steps look great, but leave a little to be desired in the installation department. After trying all the bracing out to see how it fit I finally installed the passenger side rear brace on the driver side front. The stamping was all messed up on the parts. After the install the steps really set the truck off and work great. "

" The instructions are fairly simple but do not show on the truck where the mounting brackets go. If they should that the installation would take about 30 minutes for both sides. "

" The price was reasonable compared to other step bars, however the quality of Westin products exceeded anything else I could find on the internet, and I have received several compliments regarding their appearance. They delivered within a few days after I ordered them and the free delivery was great. They were a perfect addition to my truck. "

" It was very hard to get the body bolt out of the truck. Be prepared for that. The manufacturer used locktite on it. If you don't know anything about nuts and bolts, or have not done this type of stuff before, the directions are not very helpful. "

- Terrible Directions but the Running boards are great -- Reviewed by Bobby B (Greensboro, NC) , 2005 Dodge Ram, March 13, 2012
" I have a average mechanical ability. I read the directions and the left holes in the directions. The killer is the Bracing Bar. They were stamped DF, DR, PF, PR .. I thought that meant Driver Front, Driver Rear, Passenger Front, Passenger Rear. Boy was I wrong . The stamps that are made on the bars was just terrible QC. I love the looks but the directions and stamped hardware was a joke. "

" Great product! Arrived within 3 days of ordering, very easy to install... took me less than an hour by myself to install it. I've only had it a couple weeks now, so I can't say much for long term quality as of yet. Would definately recommend this to anyone. "
